Internal Search Engine Best Practice

Your Tribiq CMS site has a built-in fulltext search engine.

This means that whenever you create content, it is searchable through the on-site search mechanism. This looks at:

  • the Title of the Item (high weighting)
  • the Keyword and Description META Tags (high weighting)
  • the body content of the Item (low weighting).

All kinds of content can be searched - not just HTML pages, but also News, Documents and other content types.

If you are using Tribiq Pro and your system supports Document-to-Text functions such as Antiword and PDF-to-HTML, documents are also searched using a full text version of your upload.
